The Hoa Huong Duong kindergarten project designed by Sunjin Vietnam Joint Venture Company, which was just inaugurated in September 2020, has been designed by the international famous architectural magazine Archdaily. com.
The work has a construction scale of 2500 m2 in the central area of Cau Giay district with very different architecture, highly adaptable to natural conditions. Although built on a distorted terrain – trapezoidal, a very narrow area with 3 sides blocked by high-rise buildings, the building design still meets the requirements of space for learning space and student play, ensuring standards for lighting, microclimate, as well as safety.
Faced with the requirement of increasing and synchronously organizing the space for playing activities and physical education for students, the architectural idea has organized the structure of “Movement Tower” with a spiral structure, narrower at the top with the top roof, connecting the bridge corridor to the classroom. On the one hand, in terms of architectural aesthetics, the spiral circular building block helps the overall architecture of the school to be dynamic and attractive. The above design solution helps to increase approximately 3 times the area of covered physical space for the school, but also creates an exchange space – physical interaction activities are very attractive because of the continuity and vertical spatial transformation is full of inspiration and fun.
This can be seen as a new design experiment for organizing space for playing activities and physical education for students in school buildings in urban areas./.
