On June 30, 2022, the topping-out ceremony of the repair and renovation project of House C, Government Guest House 37 Hung Vuong took place.

Government Guest House is located at 37 Hung Vuong, Ba Dinh district, in the central area of ​​​​Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi. This place is famous for many historical sites and famous sights such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Military Museum, West Lake, and working quarters of the Party, National Assembly, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Embassy buildings. This has created a tourist, economic, and political complexities of the Capital rich in meaning and imbued with national identity.

In particular, Building C was built in 1992 with the function of using as hotel rooms, the building was renovated several times and changed its purpose of use into an office of the People’s Deputies Newspaper. and several agencies. After studying and evaluating the current status of the existing works as well as the context of neighboring works, Sunjin Vietnam architects proposed a plan to repair and renovate building C, 37 Hung Vuong Convention Center, using architectural methods in harmony with the overall architecture of the surrounding works, contributing to the general architectural landscape of the historical space of Ba Dinh square.
