Celebrating 74 years of Vietnam Architecture Day (April 27, 1948 – April 27, 2022)

On April 27th, 1948, President Ho Chi Minh sent a letter to architects at the First Congress, officially establishing the Vietnam Architects Union (now the Vietnam Association of Architects) in Than Son village, Chien Thang commune, Lap Thach district, Vinh Yen province.

In 2011, the Prime Minister decided to make April 27 every year as Vietnam Architecture Day. From then on, April 27 every year becomes the anniversary of the entire Vietnamese architecture branch. Over the past 74 years, the Architecture branch has been increasingly developed with a large community of architects and many excellent architectural works.

On this special occasion, Sunjin Vietnam Joint Venture Company held an event at Softwater Restaurant (Hanoi) to celebrate the holiday and honor the architects. They are promising young architects and senior architects with many years of dedication and contributions to Sunjin Vietnam. The architectural works of the architects not only bring artistic value, create unique imprints, and contribute to society, but also contribute to raising Vietnamese architecture to the world.
